About

Entrepreneur Celia Senhouse turned her love of fashion and Afro-centric style into Footnotes, opening the boutique in St. John’s in 2000. Over two decades, through countless fashion shows and even a pandemic, Footnotes has grown into a staple for bold, culturally inspired fashion.

Now joined by her daughter Celene, who leads their social media, the mother–daughter duo curates a collection of Afro-Caribbean apparel, jewellery, and handbags crafted by artisans across Antigua, the wider Caribbean, and the African continent.

Footnotes is also home to Cocoapod268, their in-house clothing line known for its vibrant, comfortable, Caribbean chic looks, designed for women who love to live out loud and in colour.
